If the answer you need isn't here, email hello@investmate.com.au and I'll answer it myself.

Is this financial advice?

No. These are general information handbooks. They explain how the rules work and what the numbers do, so you can have a better conversation with your accountant or adviser. JP O'Connor is not a licensed financial adviser and nothing here takes account of your objectives, financial situation or needs.

Where do I buy the handbooks?

On Amazon. Every handbook is a Kindle ebook and a 6x9 paperback on Amazon.com.au. Nothing is sold from this website. Each book has a free calculator here, and QR codes in the book bring you straight to it.

How do I get the book after buying?

The same way as any Amazon book. The Kindle edition appears on your Kindle or in the Kindle app straight away. The paperback is printed and posted by Amazon.

Are the books printed, or digital?

Both. Every handbook comes as a Kindle ebook and as a paperback printed by Amazon.

Are the calculators really free?

Yes, all ten, with no signup and no email required. They run entirely in your browser, nothing is sent anywhere, and they work offline. They're the same models the books are built on — use them before deciding whether the books are worth it to you.

Is there really a free book?

Yes. Have A Look. is nineteen pages and takes the single most useful finding from each of the nine handbooks. No email, no signup — it just downloads.

Can my SMSF still borrow to buy property after the 2026 ban?

Not for residential property. But the ban was on borrowing, not on owning — a fund with enough cash can still buy outright. Commercial property borrowing was never banned, and farmland used in a genuine primary production business remains business real property. Three of the handbooks deal with exactly this.

Are the numbers current?

Every handbook is the Australian edition current to the 2026–27 financial year, and reflects the 2026 Budget changes. Rules change often, which is why buyers get free updates when they do.

What happens when the rules change?

The calculators on this site are updated first, so the numbers you work with stay current. Revised editions of the books go up on Amazon as they are finished.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Amazon under their own policy, because Amazon is the seller. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are unaffected.

Can I share the book with someone else?

Lend the paperback to whoever you like. Kindle sharing follows Amazon's rules. The calculators are free for anyone, so send those to anybody.

Who wrote these?

JP O'Connor, an SMSF trustee and property owner on the Gold Coast who got tired of paying people to explain things that turned out to be readable. Every number in the books is worked through rather than asserted.
